How does the percent button work?
The percent key converts the current number to a fraction of 100, so entering 200, then times, then 10 and percent gives 20, which is ten percent of 200.
Can I use my keyboard instead of clicking?
Yes. You can type the number keys, the plus, minus, star and slash operators, and press Enter or the equals key to see the result.
What does the clear button do?
The clear button resets the display to zero and discards the current calculation so you can start over from scratch.
Why does dividing by zero show an error?
Division by zero has no defined numeric answer, so the calculator displays an error or infinity rather than a normal number.
Does the calculator store my calculations?
